Kevin Trudeau is not a “whistleblower”. He markets in fear. Why? Because it WORKS. But does the fact that it works make what he does, ethical?
I am not saying the man does not give good advice during his ranting and raving, but I truly hope that those who read his books and listen to his CD’s follow up and look into his claims for themselves.
It’s an opinion. Mine.

This is a good, balanced, post.
I also think that Trudeau is a mix of things. On the one hand he is a salesman, and salesmen like to play on fear. On the other hand he is a very educated commentator, who has many valuable thoughts.

You both are giving Trudeau too much credit. The man has been convicted of fraud and larsony for the same type of nonsense he is doing today. He has been permantly barred from selling anything on infomercials excpept books–they are protected under the free speech act, and are fair game no matter what they claim. His medical claims, only one faction of the bull shit one can watch this charlatan talk about on youtube, are clearly unscientific gibberish. If anyone doubts this, there are many good medical/skeptical blogs and podcasts which deal specifically with this type of malarkey. He does not give good advice, and he is certainly not an “educated commentator”, In fact, he has ZERO documented training in mecdecine, and no bio I have ever read of him says anything about education past the high school level–unless you consider those 2 years in prison sufficient education to be a commentator on medical science. The man is a compete quack, and nothing more.

I posted a fair comment on Kevin Trudeau and apperantly it was deleted. So again, both of your seemingly banal comments on Kevin Trudeau are quite insidious. By giving ths charlatan one ounce of respect you are generating interest and confidence in his quackery. Trudeau does not give good advice, and he is surely not a educated commentator. He is a previously conviced fraud who now makes a living out of manufacturing complete malarkey. And the only reason he is succeeding is because people are not skeptical enough to put his claims up to reasonable scrutiny. So please, read the man’s biography and hopefully you will agree that he is nothing but a greedy imposter.
